Antoine in quarterfinals, that was normal; in semi finals, that was good and in final: that was fantastic! The atmosphere was surrealist today in Les Cavaliers, Anglet! It was such an electric atmosphere over here! The crowd overwhelmed the beach to support the surfers as louder they can. In quarterfinals, Antoine first kicked out Amaro Matos (BRA) with a 9.25 wave and then overpowered the former world champion Bonga Perkins (HAW) giving us a wonderful lesson of longboard. The height was its third wave in the final. The crowd was so euphoric. Unfortunately good waves didn’t come in spite of the supports and shouting, and the opponent took the advantage into winning the final.
